What’s your role at GoldenBird and what does a typical day look like for you?

I’m the Marketing Manager at GoldenBird. A typical day includes auditing accounts, building social media strategies, creating content calendars, reviewing content, providing feedback to the team, and helping keep projects moving forward. Every day looks a little different, which is one of the things I enjoy most.

What’s the best part of working at GoldenBird?

The team, without a doubt. We communicate well, support each other, and genuinely enjoy working together. It’s a collaborative environment where everyone is willing to help.

What’s something about social media that most people get wrong?

A lot of people think social media is just about posting consistently. In reality, strategy matters more than volume. You can post every day, but if your content isn’t aligned with your audience and goals, it won’t move the needle.

What’s the best piece of advice you’d give a business owner about their social media?

Stop trying to speak to everyone. The more specific you are about who you’re talking to, the more effective your content will be.

What platform do you think is the most underrated for businesses?

LinkedIn. Many businesses overlook it, but it’s one of the best platforms for building trust, authority, and meaningful connections.

How did you get into social media?

I originally started as a side hustle while working another job. What started as a small project quickly grew into a full-time career.

I’m actually very shy, which surprises people because I work in marketing and social media all day.
